Rod Simmons received his B.Mus. and B.Mus.Ed. degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1994. After a decade with the Prince George Symphony, Rod moved to Kamloops in 2008, where he holds the Bass Trombone chair with the Kamloops Symphony and teaches performing arts and French at a K-12 private school in Kamloops. As a tenor soloist, Rod has performed the Coffee Cantata and Handel's Messiah, in addition to numerous musical theatre revues.
