Solara Brass are long-time friends – some have known each other longer and friendlier. Rob and Cindy are the friendliest having been married since 1991.  Rob, Cindy and Jacquie first started playing together in the Kamloops Symphony 25 years ago, and ten years ago these three formed a brass trio. Jaymi and Richard have been pals since university. They were the ones who had the brilliant idea of forming a quintet.

Richard Cane - Tuba
Jaymi Daniels – Trumpet
Rob Hogeveen – Trumpet
Cindy Hogeveen – Trombone
Jacquie Shinkewski – French Horn
