Irina Gaivoronskaia
Irina Gaivoronskaia has degrees in piano and composition from Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg's Conservatory. She has worked as accompanist, concertmaster, and collaborative pianist at St. Petersburg's Ballet School and taught music and performance skills at St. Petersburg's Palace of Creativity.
She has just recently moved to Canada, but quickly becomes in demand as an accompanist and piano collaborator. Her thoughtful and sensitive accompaniment was complimented at the recent Kiwanis Music Festival by the singers and audience alike. Irina works as a rehearsal pianist with the Opera Kelownam where she helps the chorus to prepare for the upcoming production of Bizet's Carmen.
